Schedule a private group for a mosaic making workshop on a weekend or evening - perfect for team building or birthday parties. Or learn to make your own tiles in our Intensive Tile Making Class taught by our artists, all materials included. Don’t see a workshop that fits in your schedule? Any mosaic bench, table, metal frame, or wood frame can be completed in our showroom anytime we are open! No workshop and no appointment necessary! A member of our staff is always available to guide you through the mosaic making process. You choose your frame, compose your mosaic, and pick your grout color. We set and grout your mosaic and you pick it up a few days later completed. All ages welcome and no experience necessary!

Our studio is open to hosting your group team building event, whether that is with family, employees, or friends we can make your event possible. Our studio can be reserved for your group evenings and weekends and you are welcome to bring food and beverages! No experience necessary, all ages are welcome. 5:30 - 8:30 each evening
This evening class will be an abbreviated version of our Intensive Tile Making Class. We will cover everything you need to know to create your own tile and then expand your practice in our weekly open studio (The Hive). Each evening will cover a different step in our process: cutting, glazing, detailing, and an evening for questions and open studio time. Each student will create about 1-2 square feet of their own tile at the end of the class!
The entire tile making process will be completed one full cycle.
All materials, instruction, and firings are included. Each student receives a basic set of tools. No art experience is necessary.

Our Intensive Tile Making class is a week long class where you will learn how to make your very own tile from clay to finished tile. This course is designed to help students develop the skills needed to create mosaic masterpieces using tiles they make themselves. Our artists will cover the clay body, cutting, glazing, kiln firing, and detailing that goes into Santa Theresa tiles. Each student will create about 2-4 square feet of their own tile by the end of the week!
All materials, instruction, and firings are included. Each student receives a basic set of tools. No art experience is necessary.
Tuition for 2026 classes: $800 + tax
Tuition for 2027 classes: $875 + tax
